Why does this even need to be said?

Why does this even need to be said?

Stop touching babies you don’t know in public.

Don’t grab their hands.
Don’t stroke their hair.
Don’t lean into their stroller.
Don’t kiss their forehead because “you just couldn’t resist.”

You don’t know what that baby’s immune system has been through.
You don’t know if they were just in the NICU, or fighting off their first cold.
Even a simple touch can spread something that hits them hard.

They are not emotional support dolls.
They are tiny humans still learning what safety feels like.

And their parents are tired of pretending it’s fine when a stranger crosses a boundary.

If you wouldn’t do it to an adult, don’t do it to a baby.

Respect the space. Respect the parent. Respect the child.
