De energie van de treurwilg maakt je emoties los en helpt je bij het verwerken van verdriet en verlies. De affirmatie voor de wilg luidt: ‘Het Licht steunt mij altijd in mijn verdriet’. De wilg speelde ook een belangrijke rol in de volksgeneeskunde. Bij koorts moest men naar de boom gaan, drie knopen in een twijg leggen en zeggen: “Goe morgen, olde Ic geef oe de kolde (=koorts) Goe morgen, Olde.” Daarna zou de koorts zijn verdwenen. Bij tandpijn lichtte men eenvoudig een stukje schors op, spuugde eronder, maakte de bast weer dicht en de tandpijn was verdwenen. Het lelijke was wel dat als de boom werd geveld, de pijn weer bij de oorspronkelijke lijder terug kwam. De bast van de wilg is ook een krachtige pijnstiller. Ik was de voorloper van de huidige aspirine.

Richt je aandacht op de positieve dingen die er dagelijks gebeuren zodat je je zekerder gaat voelen. Dan worden jou kwaliteiten ook zichtbaaren je ze gaat waarderen. Wees niet zo streng voor jezelf, leg de lat niet zo hoog en wees lief voor jezelf! Laat je jezelf zien, je kan het!! Je mag je mening gaan geven. Zie en voel dat jij er toe doet en neem je plek in!

Born Free is a 1966 British drama film starring the real-life couple Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers as Joy and George Adamson, another real-life couple, who raised Elsa the Lioness, an orphaned lion cub, to adulthood and released her into the wilderness of Kenya. The film was produced by Open Road Films Ltd. and Columbia Pictures. The screenplay, written by blacklisted Hollywood writer Lester Cole (under the pseudonym "Gerald L.C. Copley"), was based upon Joy Adamson's 1960 non-fiction book Born Free. The film was directed by James Hill and produced by Sam Jaffe and Paul Radin. Peggie Castle (December 22, 1927 – August 11, 1973) Castle was an actress who specialized in playing the "other woman" in B-movies. She was also billed under the names Peggy Castle and Peggie Call. Castel Varco or also Castel Laimburg (Laimburg in German) is the ruins of a castle located on the Monte di Mezzo pass (Mitterberg) which separates Lake Caldaro and Vadena, in South Tyrol. History The castle was built in the thirteenth century by the lords of Laimburg as their residence. For a short time it was also used as the judicial seat of Caldaro. From the late Middle Ages to the early modern period, the castle included its own judicial district, still attested in 1488 as the Laymburger gericht.
