 "Shannen & Holly – When magic can’t stop the laughter behind the scenes 

On screen, Prue and Piper are two serious magical sisters who always fight with all their might against the forces of darkness. But behind the camera, Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs are a “perfect pair” that makes the whole crew laugh – even they can’t help themselves!

There are some weird lines, tricky magic, or scenes that are so serious that they… can’t be taken seriously, causing both of them to “break their roles” many times while filming. There have been many times when Shannen and Holly had to reshoot scenes because they burst out laughing, even in “dangerous” situations like facing demons or casting serious spells.

However, both of them always know how to regain focus. They seriously study their lines together, practice facial expressions, and support each other so as not to lose their emotions, even when the content is so weird that… they can’t be taken seriously!

Shannen and Holly's close friendship not only helped them get through difficult scenes, but also created a real connection on screen. Perhaps that's what makes Prue and Piper the most memorable pair of sisters on Charmed.
