Piper sat in the P3 office

"That night, after a day of fighting the evil witch, Piper sat in the P3 office, staring at a text message from Dan – a normal man, with no knowledge of magic, no worries about fate or destiny.

“If you need someone to talk to… I’m here.”

Piper sighed. Part of her wanted to give it all up, live like everyone else. Go for walks, date, open a bakery.

But she also knew that if she left this world behind – she would leave behind Prue, Phoebe, and all the souls who needed to be protected.

She texted back:

“Thank you, Dan. I’ll always appreciate it. But I can’t be just a normal girl.”

Outside, the city lights were a living painting. Piper put her phone down. She had made her choice – and sometimes, growing up meant accepting the uncomfortable."
