THE FALCON'S BROTHER

 "THE FALCON'S BROTHER" (1942)

MY THOUGHTS: The more I watch classic movies, and am able to see his work, the more I fall in love with George Sanders as an actor! He has yet to disappoint me, and he seems to be incapable of giving a poor performance. The same is true for his work in this film. His cast mates also do a wonderful job, making this a very enjoyable film, and keeps the mystery of it all interesting through to the end. Definitely worth a watch!
SYNOPSIS: "Dapper detective Gay Lawrence and his partner, Lefty, arrive to greet Gay's brother Tom who has just arrived on a cruise ship, but the sleuthing duo are told that Tom committed suicide in his cabin. Gay tells Lefty that the body isn't Tom's and the victim has been murdered. Soon Lefty is falsely accused of murder, and Gay is knocked out when he's hit by a car. It is left to a reappeared Tom to exonerate Lefty and foil an international conspiracy."
STARRING: George Sanders, Tom Conway, Jane Randolph, Don Barclay, Cliff Clark, Edward Gargan, Eddie Dunn and Charlotte Wynters.
SCREENPLAY: Stuart Palmer and Craig Rice; Based on Characters created by Michael Arlen.
