Phoebe found a small music box

"Phoebe found a small music box in an old dresser drawer—something she’d never noticed before. She wound it up, and the music began—a soft, familiar melody.

“Whose is this?” she asked as Piper walked by.

Piper paused, listening to a few notes. “It was Grandma’s. Mom kept it when she died. Whenever she missed home, she would play it.”

Phoebe leaned her head against her sister’s shoulder. “I don’t know why… but when I hear it, I feel safe. Like I’m being held by someone I’ve never met.”

Piper squeezed her sister’s shoulder. “That’s family, Pheebs. Even though they’re far away, they’re still here. In the sound, in the wind… in our hearts.”"
