Motherhood doesn’t end when they grow up
Motherhood doesn’t end when they grow up.
It doesn’t stop when they stop needing help with shoes or bedtime stories. It just changes.
It becomes quieter, but deeper.
It’s being the person they call when the world feels too heavy.
It’s staying up late just to make sure they got home safe.
It’s still worrying, still praying, still loving them with everything I have.
I’ll always be their home, their calm, their person.
No matter how old they get if they need me, I’ll show up.
Because as long as I’m here, they’ll never be alone in this world.
