It’s not your job

It’s not your job to keep making excuses for people who refuse to show up.

You don’t have to carry the weight for anyone who chooses absence over effort.

You’re allowed to say this hurts. You’re allowed to admit you’re tired of being the only one trying.

Because love isn’t about convenience. It’s not something you do only when it’s easy.
Love is showing up especially when it’s hard.

And that’s what you do.
You show up. Even when you’re exhausted. Even when your heart feels heavy.
Because your kids deserve to know what real love looks like.
The kind that stays. The kind that doesn’t disappear when things get hard.

If you needed a sign this is it.
Let them go. Let yourself breathe.
And let your kids see what it means to love without excuses.
