They all let go eventually

 They all let go eventually.

They stop reaching for your hand.
They stop crawling into your lap.
They stop needing you in the middle of the night.

But right now?
They still want you.
They still need the comfort of your arms.
They still ask for one more cuddle.
One more story.
One more minute.

Let them need you.
Hold them longer.
Rock them to sleep.
Pick them up without hesitation.
Because one day, they won’t ask anymore.

And on that day, you’ll be so glad you slowed down.
You’ll be so thankful you didn’t rush it.
You’ll never regret the extra time you gave them.
You’ll only ever wish for one more night like this.
