Rose McGowan

 "Rose McGowan – The Listener

At a small conference in Chicago, Rose sat quietly in the audience after her talk. A young woman approached, trembling, and told of the trauma she had overcome. Without interrupting or offering to explain, Rose simply held her hand and let her finish.

When she finished, Rose said only one sentence:

“You survived. Now you have the right to walk without bowing your head.”

The girl later became a women’s rights activist."
