Custom House
The Custom House in New Bedford, Massachusetts, around 1886 and 2022. It was built in 1836 during New Bedford’s heyday as a whaling port, and it was here that returning ships would register their cargoes. The building is still standing today, and it is still in use as offices for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
