They’re always watching
They’re always watching.
Not just when we’re raising our voices or celebrating the big wins. But in the quiet. In the small, ordinary moments. When we’re running on no sleep. When our patience is thin. When everything in us wants to snap, and we choose softness instead. Our kids are learning what love looks like when it’s exhausted. What strength sounds like when it’s gentle. What forgiveness feels like when it isn’t easy.
They’re watching how we treat each other. How we handle stress. How we say sorry. How we show up even when it’s hard.
They’re learning from the way we speak to ourselves in the mirror. From the way we hug a little longer. From the way we breathe deep instead of breaking down.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing them that love can still exist in the hard. That kindness still matters when the world feels heavy.
You’re teaching them so much. Even when you think you’re just surviving. Especially then.
