Let them judge

 Let them judge.

Let them whisper behind your back when you choose your baby over a night out.

Let them roll their eyes when you say no to plans again.
Let them call you too clingy, too soft, too strict, too emotional.
Let them say you’ve changed.

Because you have.

You became a mother.
And that changes everything.

You’re allowed to show up for your kids first.
You’re allowed to cancel for their nap time, for their needs, for your sanity.

Let them misunderstand.
Let them label you.

But don’t you ever let them make you feel like you’re doing it wrong.
Motherhood comes first and that’s more than enough.
