Why does she seem so irritated all the time?

“Why does she seem so irritated all the time?”

Maybe because she hasn’t sat down without being needed in what feels like years.

Maybe because she’s running on broken sleep, half-drunk coffee, and the last bit of patience she didn’t even know she still had.

Maybe because she’s carrying the weight of everyone’s schedules, emotions, and expectations… while trying to remember who she even was before all of this.

Maybe because she’s overstimulated, touched out, and doing her best not to snap when someone asks her for something the second she finally gets a moment to breathe.

Maybe because she’s doing everything she can to hold her family together, even on the days she feels like she’s falling apart a little herself.

It’s not irritation.
It’s exhaustion.
It’s overstimulation.
It’s a heart that cares so much it forgets to rest.

Moms aren’t angry.
We’re tired.
We’re overwhelmed.
And we’re trying our absolute best… even when it doesn’t look pretty.
