Love Bound

"Love Bound" 1932 directed and written by Robert F. Hill, also known as "Murder on the High Seas".

Natalie Moorhead, Jack Mulhall, Richard Alexander, Roy D'Arcy, Lynton Brent, Clara Kimball Young, Edmund Breese, Tom Ricketts, Alice Day, William V. Mong, Montagu Love.
The film has some really beautiful shots, particularly of Moorhead. The story takes quite a while to get set up and Roy D'Arcy, who was effective as a villain in big silent films, is not very good. The sneaking around by Lynton Brent as Jimmy, don't seem believable and comic moments by Tom Ricketts as the Baron and by Richard Alexander as the make-believe Lucky really don't add anything. When Natalie Moorhead and Jack Mulhall are in the frame, it is of interest. Miss Moorhead had starring roles in small films and supporting roles in big films, and she was both a fine actress and quite beautiful.
