Alyssa Milano

"Alyssa Milano – A Story Book for a Refugee Girl

During a visit to a refugee camp in Greece, Alyssa met a Syrian girl holding a torn book with many pages missing. “I miss the bedtime stories you read me,” she said.

Alyssa returned to the US and sent her a book of Arabic fairy tales, but on the last page, she hand-wrote:

“I’m not your mother, but I believe your dreams are as important as anyone’s. Tell your own stories – the world needs to hear them.”"
