Bewitched

 March 25, 1972, the final episode of Bewitched aired on ABC.

The beloved sitcom ran for eight seasons from September 17, 1964, to March 25, 1972, and was created by Sol Saks. It starred Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha, a witch who marries a mortal man and attempts to live a normal suburban life, alongside Dick York (1964–1969) and later Dick Sargent (1969–1972) as Darrin Stephens, with Agnes Moorehead and David White in key supporting roles.

A major hit during its run, Bewitched finished as the #2 show in America in its first season and became one of the longest-running and most popular supernatural-themed sitcoms of its era. The series has remained a staple in syndication around the world for decades.

In later years, it continued to earn recognition, ranking #50 on TV Guide’s “50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time,” while the classic Season 2 episode “Divided He Falls” was ranked #48 on the magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.”
