PRISM BLAST OVER THE PEAK
PRISM BLAST OVER THE PEAKSunlight split into a rainbow fountain above the mountain.
Then the light breaks apart..tall, prismatic streaks rising like a color burst straight into the storm edge.
Some moments don’t need filters… just the right angle, the right air, and the Sun in the perfect spot.
This look usually comes from sunlight interacting with ice crystals or tiny water droplets in high cloud, creating iridescent patches / “sun-dog” style colors. Strong contrast can also make crepuscular rays (sunbeams) look like giant pillars .
Pacific Northwest / Cascade Range vibe .. looks similar to Central Oregon (Three Sisters / Mount Bachelor area) .
