The Bad Seed (1956)
A very stage-bound, but also very fun movie.
Quite possibly the origin of things such as The Omen (1976), which is virtually the same concept carried to its most absurd end.
The script discusses the origin of evil and crime in a most Hitchcockian manner; and features psychologists and crime writers seriously discussing 'nature vs nurture'.

It may be initially difficult to see that it is a comedy, but by the end there can be no doubt that what we have witnessed is a ridiculous, pitch-black farce.
Highly recommended.
