During the holidays

During the holidays, everything gets loud and busy and overwhelming.

But if you see a new mom standing in the corner trying to eat with one hand and bounce a baby with the other, step in.
Hold the baby.
Let her sit down.
Let her breathe.
Let her finish a plate while it’s still warm for once.

People forget that moms deserve to enjoy the holidays too.
She shouldn’t have to miss her meal just because she’s the only one the baby wants.
You holding that little one for ten minutes might be the only moment she gets to actually taste her food.

Help her.
Include her.
Make space for her.
Because she deserves to be part of the holiday, not just the one holding it all together.
