Dames
Dames 1934 isn't really a pre-code film although many people really want it to be a pre-code film and some get defensive about it. See this from Wikipedia: "Dames began production at the Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California on March 28, 1934. Ray Enright completed the dramatic scenes in mid-April of that year, while Busby Berkeley continued working on the musical numbers until July 3. The film had its premiere on August 16, 1934, and went into general release on September 1 of that year."
As it was released after July 1, 1934, it had to pass the requirements of the newly enforced Motion Pictre Prduction Code before it was released to movie theaters. It had to be approved just like other films of that year such as "The Scarlet Empress".
