Because the truth is… a lot of us didn’t.
A lot of us are still unlearning things we were taught as kids.
Still figuring out how to set boundaries without feeling guilty.
Still trying to believe we’re worthy of love without having to earn it.

I’m not here to raise kids who are “fine” on the outside but hurting on the inside.
I’m here to raise kids who feel safe in their own skin.
Kids who know they’re allowed to say no without fear.
Kids who believe their voice matters, even when it shakes.
Kids who trust their feelings and don’t have to bury them to be accepted.

I’m not raising them to shrink themselves to make other people comfortable.
I’m raising them to stand tall in who they are.
To live in their fullness
