It’s the little things they do that get me

It’s the little things they do that get me.

The way my littlle daugter hums while he eats, like every bite is the best thing he’s ever tasted.
The way my daughter always has to hold my hand in the car, even if we’re just driving down the street.
The way they both laugh with their whole bodies, like nothing in the world could ever be wrong.

It’s these tiny quirks, these little habits, that I know I’ll miss one day.
The things that feel so small right now, but will one day be the memories I’d give anything to relive.

Motherhood is made up of a million moments like this.
Moments that sneak up on you in between the chaos.
Moments that make you stop and think
This. This is what it’s all about.
