Mutiny On The Bounty (1935)

In 1783, His Majesty's Vessel 'Bounty', under the command of Lieutenant William Bligh, was sent to the island country of Tahiti to load Breadfruit plants aboard and transport them to New Guinea as a food source for the slaves there.
A tragic uprising and subsequent mutiny occured, led by Masters Mate, Fletcher Christian and because of those events, Bounty never completes her intended journey.
Though the historical journey itself ended in tragedy, this film was an enormous success, despite many liberties taken with documented historical facts.
A spectacular film to behold.
