I used to say I’d never be that mom

I used to say I’d never be that mom.

The one who lets her kid sleep in her bed.
Who forgets picture day.
Who reheats the same cup of coffee four times and still never finishes it.

But now I get it.
Now I know motherhood isn’t about being perfect it’s about being present.

It’s about loving them through the chaos.
Laughing through the mess.
And forgiving yourself for the days that don’t go as planned.

So yeah, I became that mom.
The tired one.
The emotional one.
The one who loves so hard it hurts.

But I also became the one that never says never. Because every day is different and sometimes we just don’t know until we do.
