Fanny Brice
Fanny Brice (October 29, 1891 – May 29, 1951)She was a popular and influential song model, comedian, singer, theater and film actress, who made many stage, radio and film appearances and is known as the creator and star of the top-rated radio comedy series, The Baby Snooks Show. She was portrayed on the Broadway stage by Barbra Streisand in the musical Funny Girl and its 1968 film adaptation. Brice died of a cerebral hemorrhage at age 59, and her ashes were interred in the Chapel Mausoleum at the Jewish Home of Peace Cemetery in East Los Angeles, California. However, when Brice's daughter Frances died in 1992, Fanny's ashes were moved at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, and interred there with her daughter.
