I stopped explaining my choices
I stopped explaining my choices the day I realized the loudest voices were never the ones helping.
The people who judge the most aren’t the ones tucking my kids in, paying my bills, or picking up the pieces when life gets hard. They aren’t the ones showing up when I’m exhausted or holding my babies when they’re sick.
So no, I don’t owe them an explanation.
Not for how I parent, how I love, or how I live.
Because the ones who matter the ones truly in it with me already understand.
They don’t criticize. They support.
And that’s where my energy stays now.
