Breaking Bad
Let’s get real for a second.Hank Schrader was NEVER wrong. Not once. Meanwhile, Walter not only manipulated the characters around him—he even managed to manipulate us as the audience into taking his side.
Hank was just a fair, hardworking DEA agent living in the same town as the biggest meth kingpin in America. What was he supposed to do—look the other way because Marie shoplifted a spoon once? Come on.
People say “Oh but Hank humiliated Walt.” No, he didn’t. Hank was just that goofy, loud uncle type—playful, sometimes cringey, but never cruel. He was like that with everyone. You don’t wish death on your uncle for being corny at family BBQs, and you don’t call him a bad person for it either.
And let’s not forget: Hank could’ve taken the easy way out and put a bull3t in Walt when he had the chance. But he didn’t. He chose the hard way, the right way—trying to arrest him and bring him to justice. That’s who Hank was.
So no, Hank didn’t “deserve what he got.” He deserved way better.
