THE MUSIC MAN

 "THE MUSIC MAN" (1962)

MY THOUGHTS ... For me, this movie is more than just one of "my favorite musicals." It is one of "my favorite movies of all time!" It is wonderful in every way that a musical should be. The story is both dramatic and comical. The songs are memorable and never get old. The costumes are colorful, and the dance numbers are joyous! EVERYONE in this talented cast does their best and gives it their all! And the cast includes an amazing array of "triple threats" and some fantastic character actors! It is pure entertainment and, in every way, possible! I enjoyed re-visiting it and ... I'll admit it ... I was tapping my toes and singing along!
