TV series "Dallas"

The TV series "Dallas" is one of the most iconic and beloved prime-time soap operas in television history. Airing from 1978 to 1991, it centered on the wealthy, feuding Ewing family and their Texas oil empire, Ewing Oil.

The show became a global phenomenon, famous for its dramatic plot twists, family betrayals, and larger-than-life characters. It is best remembered for the legendary villain J.R. Ewing (played by Larry Hagman), whose schemes drove much of the drama. The "Who shot J.R.?" cliffhanger in 1980 became a worldwide sensation and remains one of the most famous moments in TV history.

With its themes of power, money, love, and rivalry, Dallas captivated audiences for over a decade and left a lasting legacy on popular culture. Its success led to a revival series that ran from 2012 to 2014, introducing the classic saga to new generations.
