FACES
"FACES" --- (1968) ---
MY THOUGHTS: I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, and I'm still not completely sure what I thought of it. It was quite different. There were several parts that were entertaining, and others that were a bit of an oddity and made me wonder. Wonder what? I'm not sure of that either. One thing I am sure of is how good the cast is. They are fully committed, and it shows in their performances. Gena Rowlands has always been a favorite of mine and she is amazing in this! So are the rest of the cast. I almost feel like I need a somewhat higher intellect to totally "get" what this movie is saying...but, I enjoyed watching it unfold, while it was being said. That's something, right?
