She doesn’t need another opinion

 She doesn’t need another opinion.

She needs support.

Motherhood is already loud inside her head.
Did I respond right?
Was I too soft? Too firm?
Did they eat enough?
Did I miss something?

She is carrying questions you will never hear out loud.

Normalize supporting mothers.
Not scrutinizing everything we do.

If she breastfeeds, support her.
If she bottle feeds, support her.
If she works, stays home, builds a business during nap time, homeschools, sends them to school with a shaky breath and a prayer.

Support her.

You do not need to understand every choice to respect it.
You do not need to approve of her motherhood to honor the weight of it.

Bring the meal.
Send the text.
Offer the help without attaching a lesson to it.

Motherhood is sacred and stretching and exhausting and beautiful.
It does not need commentary layered on top.

It needs women who say
“I see you.”
“You’re doing better than you think.”
“You don’t have to carry this alone.”

Normalize being a safe place for mothers.
Not another voice they have to defend themselves against.
