Raising a child

Raising a child the world needs, not one who will contribute to the chaos.

Not one who is the loudest in the room,
but one who knows when to listen.
Not one who hardens at the first sign of discomfort,
but one who stays soft in a world that often isn’t.

I’m raising a child who can think critically, love deeply, and move through life with empathy and accountability. One who understands that kindness isn’t weakness, that boundaries matter, and that responsibility doesn’t cancel compassion.

The world doesn’t need more noise.
It needs steadiness.
It needs people who pause before reacting.
People who care how their presence lands on others.

That’s the work.
Quiet. Intentional. Unseen most days.
And worth every ounce of effort.
