No offense, but as a mom
No offense, but as a mom
I don’t need unsolicited advice about older childrenfrom someone who hasn’t raised them yet.
Because parenting a toddler and parenting a teen
are two entirely different worlds.
Different stakes.
Different fears.
Different kinds of tired.
You can be a great mom.
You can be doing an amazing job right where you are.
And still not have lived the seasons I’m standing in.
This isn’t about hierarchy or superiority.
It’s about experience.
I don’t correct a mom in the newborn fog
because I once held a newborn.
I remember how little sleep rewires your brain.
How survival comes first.
How advice feels like noise.
So I’ll offer support when it’s asked for.
Perspective when it’s welcomed.
And humility about the chapters I haven’t reached yet.
Motherhood is long.
Wide.
Layered.
We don’t all need to speak on every season
to be worthy of being heard in our own.
