Unpopular opinion

 Unpopular opinion… but trying to protect our kids from every single risk doesn’t actually keep them safe.

Let them try things.
Let them figure it out.
Let them take small risks while you’re there to guide them.

Because kids who are trusted to learn and problem-solve grow into confident, capable adults.

Sheltering them from everything doesn’t protect them it just teaches them to doubt themselves.

I’d rather raise a kid who believes they can handle things than one who’s afraid to even try.

That’s what real safety looks like.
