Sometimes I catch myself feeling guilty

Sometimes I catch myself feeling guilty when I mess up as a mom.

When I lose my patience, raise my voice, or realize later I could’ve handled something differently.

But then I remember my kids aren’t supposed to see perfection.
They’re supposed to see real.

They’re supposed to see me calm down, take a breath, apologize, and try again.
They’re supposed to learn that mistakes don’t define us… how we handle them does.

If they grow up knowing that even adults mess up sometimes and that it’s okay to say sorry and make it right then I’m teaching them one of the most important lessons of all.
