They call it a break
They call it a break.
Running errands alone.Cleaning the house without kids.
Taking a shower in silence.
But it’s not a break.
It’s work.
It’s survival.
It’s the bare minimum.
And yet mothers are told to feel lucky for these scraps of time.
Like grocery shopping or showering counts as rest.
At some point we just break.
We forget who we are outside of motherhood.
We can’t even remember what we enjoy anymore.
Motherhood can take every piece of you if you’re not careful.
And that doesn’t mean you don’t love your kids.
It just means you’re human.
And you deserve more than responsibilities.
