Patricia Mattick


 Patricia Mattick (1951–2003), a versatile actress whose talent bridged television and theater with grace and dedication. Born Patricia Colleen Mattick in Denver, Colorado, she began cultivating her craft early, attending Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, California, and graduating in 1969. Known affectionately as "Pattye," Mattick made a memorable mark on 1970s television, appearing in popular series such as Columbo, Mannix, Tales of the Unexpected, Ironside, and The Streets of San Francisco. Her petite stature and youthful appearance allowed her to embody a variety of characters, bringing authenticity and charm to every role.

Mattick’s first notable film role came in The Beguiled (1971), where her performance showcased her range and screen presence. As her television career matured, she transitioned to theater, joining Los Angeles’ Padua Playwrights Productions between 1981 and 1983. There, she appeared in productions including The Visit, The Danube, and Bercilak’s Dream, demonstrating a profound commitment to stage performance and expanding her artistic repertoire throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Patricia Mattick passed away on December 6, 2003, at the age of 52, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is interred at Granby Cemetery in Granby, Colorado. Her legacy endures through her memorable television roles and her passionate contributions to theater, inspiring performers and audiences alike.
