I’ve heard it

I’ve heard it said a hundred times “the mess can wait.”

But for me, sometimes, it can’t.

When the sink is full, the laundry is spilling out, and the counters are cluttered, it feels like the weight of it all sits right on my chest.
The chaos in my home starts to mirror the chaos in my mind.

So when I clear the dishes, fold a load of laundry, or wipe down the table, I’m not just tidying up.
I’m giving myself room to breathe.
It’s not about chasing a spotless home.
It’s about creating a little space where I can think, feel, and show up for my family as my best self.

Because the truth is memories matter more than messes.
But sometimes, clearing just one corner of the chaos helps me love those moments even more.
