 Chuck Connors, born Kevin Joseph Aloysius Connors on April 10, 1921, in DeKalb, Illinois, was an American actor, professional basketball player, and baseball player. Before embarking on his acting career, Connors played professional basketball for the Boston Celtics in the late 1940s and later pursued a career in baseball, playing for the Chicago Cubs.
