Shannen Doherty's role brings depth and inner strength to the character – not only a witch with the power to move objects, but also a sister who always tries to keep the family together after the death of her mother. Prue's departure at the end of season 3 left a huge void that nothing could fill.

Piper - the middle sister - is the soul of the family. She is the one who always seeks a balance between her witch duties and her dream of a normal life. The audience loves Piper for her gentleness, practical personality and warm heart. When Prue is lost, Piper almost collapses, but from there she grows up to become the leader of the family, a wife, a mother, and a source of strength for everyone. Holly Marie Combs brings a very real Piper - both steadfast, lovable, and emotional.

Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano)
The youngest - but no less outstanding. Phoebe is the image of freedom, instinct and always dares to be true to her emotions. With the ability to see the future, Phoebe is often torn between what is right and what her heart tells her. Alyssa Milano portrays a vibrant, vibrant Phoebe who goes through a remarkable process of growth – from a mischievous young girl to a strong, experienced woman."
