COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER
"COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER" --- (1980) ---MY THOUGHTS:
I am a long-time fan of Sissy Spacek, and this movie is one of the reasons why. She is an incredible actress, yet so very unassuming and often-times subtle, while giving her most hard-hitting performances. she and Tommy Lee Jones, played off of each other very well and it wasn't too "sugar coated" of a presentation (story-wise). It is hard to believe that this film is 44 years old! Time to sit back and revisit it. You won't be disappointed!
