Bombshell

"Bombshell" 1933 directed by Victor Fleming, written by John Lee Mahin, Jules Furthman, Caroline Francke for MGM.
Jean Harlow, Lee Tracy, Frank Morgan, Franchot Tone, Pat O'Brien, Una Merkel, Ted Healy, Ivan Lebedeff, Isabel Jewell, Louise Beavers, Leonard Carey, Mary Forbes, C. Aubrey Smith, June Brewster, Ethel Griffies, Grace Hayle, Ruth Warren.
Jean Harlow was at her comic best as the much put-upon movie star, Lola Burns, who escapes her family and press agent, (Lee Tracy as Space Hanlon) to go to the desert where she meets wealthy Gifford Middleton (played by Franchot Tone). He has never heard of Lola Burns, and he woos her with hilarious over-the-top romantic dialogue. It's among the finest parodies of Hollywood from Hollywood.
