A RAINBOW LIT UP
A RAINBOW LIT UP… AND LIGHTNING SPLIT THE MOUNTAIN
This is the kind of scene that looks impossible until you remember how fast weather changes.
A rainbow forms when sunlight hits rain in the air while the sun is behind you. Lightning happens when storm clouds build up electrical charge and release it in a powerful strike. When both line up at once..sunlight breaking through on one side while the storm is still active on the other..you can get a rare “rainbow + lightning” moment in the same view.
You can see this kind of dramatic overlap in mountainous storm zones like the Andes (Chile/Argentina), where fast-moving weather, high peaks, and open valleys create perfect conditions for sun-and-storm in the same frame.
