Golden hour over the open ocean — Maldives
It wasn’t just a sunset… it was a whole spectrum spilling out at once.
A thick band of clouds drifted right in front of the lowering sun, and the light didn’t simply glow — it split. Each gap and ice-heavy layer in the cloud acted like a lens, fanning the sunlight into vivid color beams that shot across the sky and painted the sea with molten gold.
For a few minutes, the horizon looked like it was projecting a rainbow from the inside out .
