The film was nominated for eleven (11) Academy Awards, winning five (5) for "Best Cinematography, "Best Film Editing," "Best Costume Design," "Best Art Direction" and "Best Supporting Actress" for Blanchett.
It was also nominated for fourteen (14) BAFTAs, winning four (4) for: "Best Film," Best Makeup and Hair," "Best Production Design," and "Best Actress in a Supporting Role."
It was nominated for six Golden Globe Awards, winning three (3) for "Best Motion Picture - Drama," "Best Original Score" and "Best Actor - Motion Picture Drama for DiCaprio.
