Horse Feathers

"Horse Feathers" is a classic comedy film released in 1932, starring the Marx Brothers – Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and Zeppo Marx. Directed by Norman Z. McLeod.

In "Horse Feathers," Groucho Marx portrays Quincy Adams Wagstaff, the newly appointed president of Huxley College. When the college's football team consistently performs poorly, Wagstaff comes up with a harebrained scheme to recruit professional football players to boost the team's chances of winning. However, things quickly spiral out of control as chaos ensues on and off the football field.

Harpo and Chico Marx play the roles of two inept con artists, Pinky and Baravelli, who become embroiled in Wagstaff's scheme and add to the comedic mayhem. Zeppo Marx, in one of his last roles with the Marx Brothers, portrays Frank Wagstaff, Quincy's son.

"Horse Feathers" is celebrated for its clever wordplay, absurd situations, and irreverent humor. The film features several iconic scenes, including a memorable football game filled with slapstick comedy and outrageous stunts.
