If you’re going to a baby shower

If you’re going to a baby shower, here’s your gentle reminder

It’s not about picking out the cutest outfit or grabbing whatever’s on sale.
It’s about supporting a parent who is trying to prepare for a new life.

That registry isn’t a wishlist. It’s a survival guide.
They spent hours researching what they’ll actually need, what fits their space, what aligns with their parenting style.

So if you’re not going to shop from the registry
at least ask what they still need
or just give cash and let them choose.

Because this season of life is overwhelming enough
without having to smile through ten duplicate blankets and a stuffed animal that’s “just too cute to pass up.”

Support looks like listening.
It looks like showing up how they need, not how you want.
That’s the real gift.
