Parenthood

Parenthood has taught me the importance of picking my battles.

Not every tantrum needs a reaction. Not every skipped vegetable is worth the argument. Not every messy room has to be cleaned right this second.

Sometimes, peace looks like letting them jump in puddles in their school shoes. Sometimes it’s saying yes to one more bedtime story even though you’re running on empty.

Because not everything needs to be corrected. Some things just need grace, understanding, and a little extra patience.

The connection we build matters more than winning every disagreement. And choosing love over control? That’s the kind of parent I’m proud to be.
