I want to be the house filled with laughter and open doors

I want to be the house filled with laughter and open doors.

The place where my kids and their friends feel safe enough to just be.

Not because there are no rules,
But because they know this is a home full of love, understanding and warmth.

I want them to feel seen here.
I want them to feel heard.
I want them to know they don’t have to be perfect to be welcome.

Snacks in the kitchen.
Blankets on the couch.
A listening ear without judgment.

I want them to remember this home as the one that always made space for them.
Where they could be loud or quiet or silly or sad.
Where they were met with kindness every single time.

Because that’s the kind of love I want my kids to grow up knowing.
The kind that makes people feel like they belong.
